From Brazil comes an erotic thriller that boldly dismisses the constraints of reality and logic to maintain a sensual tone right until its shocking conclusion, infused with unexpected elements of the surreal and melodramatic.

Matias (Gabriel Faryas), a strikingly attractive young actor, is part of a theatrical troupe that focuses on dance and expressive movement. Feeling envious of his colleague and friend, Fabio (Henrique Barreira), who has recently secured a role in a popular upcoming television series, Matias craftily attempts to arrange an audition for himself as well.

Concurrently, Matias is engaged in a covert affair with Rafael (Cirillo Luna), a politician who, while not publicly out, is on the brink of becoming mayor. The pair share a fervent penchant for engaging in secretive encounters in public spaces, reveling in the danger of potentially being caught. Coincidentally, Rafael is also connected to the director of the TV show Fabio is involved with, a seemingly random link that ultimately leads to dramatic and deadly outcomes.

The theme of public intimacy could be seen as a metaphor for the intricate dance gay men often perform—defying yet simultaneously yielding to societal pressures that urge them to conceal their identities. A different, perhaps more serious film might have explored just this aspect. However, this film opts to explore public intimacy not only as a societal statement but also as an element of pure erotic appeal. This focus on sexual fantasy intensifies, dominating the narrative in the wildly climactic and nearly ludicrous final scenes. The movie deliberately tests the limits of its own believability, presenting itself as both lavish and provocative.
